What Does It Mean to Be Part of Super Lawyers®?
To become a Super Lawyers® member for a given year, an attorney must stand up to an extensive, multiphase, and patented selection process. Super Lawyers® judges potential annual members based on their case results, client testimonials, honors and awards, special certifications, community involvement, continued legal education participation, and much more. An independent Blue Ribbon Panel conducts peer evaluations of finalists to make the final selection. Up to 5% of all practicing attorneys in a region can be named to Super Lawyers®, marking the rarity of the distinction.
To become a Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ member, an attorney will be held to the same strict standards and review process as other Super Lawyers® nominees. However, there is an added requirement: the nominee must be under the age of 40, or have less than 10 years of practice experience. This limitation means no more than 2.5% of practicing attorneys in a region will be named as Rising Stars℠ members, and it marks them as attorneys-to-watch for future greatness and achievements.
