Randy Fisher is an attorney with Roberts Means Roncevic Kapela LLC, where he practices Sports & Entertainment Law, Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Business Litigation. Throughout his remarkable legal career, Randy has become well-known as an accomplished trial attorney, a fierce negotiator, and a trusted advocate. Named a “Top 100 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyer” by the National Trial Lawyers, Randy represents a diverse range of clients on significant legal matters. Beyond the Law Office

As a Certified NFL Contract Advisor and Co-Founder of the NFL Agency ASCEND ATHLETICS, Randy oversees and manages their Midwest operations. With ASCEND, Randy is responsible for handling a wide variety of legal matters for their NFL Clients, including contract negotiations, marketing and sponsorship negotiations, fine appeals and grievances, LLC formation, business due diligence, intellectual property protection, commercial litigation, and personal legal matters. A former Division 1 College Football Player, Randy has established and maintains significant relationships with coaches, scouts, front office staff, administrators, and trainers throughout College Football and the National Football League. Randy’s relentless competitive drive provides his professional athlete clients with unparalleled support that enables each of them to maximize their opportunities, both on and off the field.


Randy began his legal career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. While in that position he litigated State handgun cases as the “Gun Prosecutor” under a Federal Firearms grant funded by the United States Department of Justice and Project Safe Neighborhoods.

Born in Ohio, Randy attended Valparaiso University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2000--and from Valparaiso University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2003. While at Valpo, he lettered three years and started at Defensive Line for the Crusaders Football team. Following his senior year, Randy was awarded the University’s Outstanding Leadership and Service Award and the Male Athlete Leadership Award. Randy is also an inductee to the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame: Wisert Chapter (Toledo, Ohio).
